Professional and Educational Goals

This is my last semester at FSU - College of Information. I am taking LIS 5603, LIS 5524, and LIS 5313. I'm definitely in over my head. I’m getting the SLMS certification and plan to student teach in the Fall 2008. I wish to go to a Middle School library. I should graduate in December 2008, just 25 years after my undergraduate degree.

Before FSU

My undergrad degree is Electrical Engineering from Ga Tech. I have a Master’s in Decision Science from Georgia State University. I’ve worked as PC repair, electrical engineer, help desk support, and project manager. I used to work at Emory University, then at Turner Broadcasting, but child #3 was enough to get me to stay home for a little while.

[edit] Life, the Universe, and Everything

I live in Decatur, GA. I run book fairs - a minimum of two per year for the Oak Grove PTA. I’ve got two dogs, both rescued, and now running the house.

The kids are now 14, 12, & 8 yrs old. We have:

• Robotics competitions
• softball
• gymnastics
• flute lessons
• karate
• chess and
• baseball.

But that's just in the Spring.
