What I Do
This is my second semester in the LIS program at FSU and my second semester working in a high school library. I enjoy helping students research and find "just the right book" to read. I have a degree in English literature and a minor in communications and taught English for five years before working in the library. I'm certified in English and Speech for secondary education and look forward to adding "School Media Specialist" to my certifications.
Where I Am
I live in Miami, FL, and love the year-round sunshine and warm weather; however, I'm not a fan of the traffic and ever-rising concrete buildings. In my imagination, I live in a house in the woods with a big fireplace and a huge kitchen for cooking Indian curries and other such delights.
