I am a third grade educator at [[1]] Westside Elementary in Lake City, Florida. This is my 18th year teaching and I still get excited writing lesson plans.

God has blessed me with a loving family. I am madly in love with my husband of 20 years. He is my best friend and he is so good to me. We have two incredible children. Mallory is 16 years old and Peyton is 13 years old. They have taught us how to use patience through the years. We are all animal lovers. We have 2 dogs pictured here and 2 cats. We live out in the country where they have ample room to run.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from UCF in Elementary Education in 1989. I also hold a Paralegal degree from Thomson Education Direct. This is my first semester at [[2]] FSU. I'm looking forward to obtaining my Masters Degree for Media Specialist. I plan to work in the public schools as Media Specialist.

Though free time is hard to come by, I like to spend what time I have:

   * with my family 
   * activities with our church, Christ Central Ministries
   * taking nature walks
   * reading
