What I Do

This is my first semester in the LIS program at FSU. I plan to use this degree to work in an elementary school library. I am currently a Speech-Language Pathologist at Metcalfe Elementary in Gainesville, Florida. I know a lot of people do not know much about that field, so if you are interested in finding out more about it please visit this Wikipedia page.

Where I Am

I am originally from Mt. Dora, Florida but I moved to Gainesville in 2001 to attend the University of Florida and I have been here ever since. That means I have never lived more than 1 mile from this 100 mile strip of US HWY 441 (with the exception of studying abroad).

How I Spend the Day

  • Go to work
  • Tutor after work
  • Maybe go to the gym
  • Go to class or do school work
  • If there is any time left over:
    • Study German
    • Cook
    • Garden
    • Read
    • Watch Bravo
